Take a Break for Education - March 28, 2009 The Grosse Ile Educational Foundation and its supporters took some time out to celebrate education in late March. The Grosse Ile Golf and Country Club was transformed into an island paradise as creative co-chairs Lori Johnson and Pat Costick had us believing that we were actually on Spring Break! Guests were entertained by live music (courtesy of the band-I can't remember the name), and participated in a silent auction that featured wonderful items for the whole family to enjoy. A dazzling diamond raffle was held, and contributed to the excitement and anticipation of the evening. ACE Diamond Jewelry donated the beautiful diamond, which was won by LeeAnn Shade.
