Grant Application & Guidelines

The Grosse Ile Educational Foundation, Inc. is a volunteer, non-profit organization committed to funding life-long educational experiences for the students and families of Grosse Ile. We do this by financially supporting creative and exemplary educational opportunities through the Grosse Ile Township Schools and the Community.

Grant applications must be filled out on-line. The Board of Directors has the discretion to cap any grant. Any Grosse Ile Township School employee or non-profit community group may apply for a grant.

Be advised that we do not fund:

  • Requests that are not within the Township of Grosse Ile
  • Individuals (except for teacher training)
  • Religious institutions
  • Organizations that do not have tax-exempt status

Any grant request received after submission deadline will be reviewed at the subsequent Board meeting. Your grant proposal will be reviewed by the Grant Committee to verify that it meets the guidelines. It will then be presented to the GIEF Board Members. You will be notified of the Board's decision within two weeks of the Board Meeting.
